GPS not working?
Ensure location permission is granted in app settings. GPS requires a clear view of the skyβdense forest or buildings can block signal. Wait 30 seconds for GPS lock. If GPS still doesn't work, restart the app.
Can't download maps?
Map downloads require a WiFi connection and at least the storage space specified. Delete cache to free space. Try downloading a smaller map region first. Contact support if issues persist.
How to cancel subscription?
Go to your app store account settings β Subscriptions β Trail Map GPS β Cancel Subscription. Cancellation is instant. Your access continues until the end of your billing period.
Lost my waypoints?
Waypoints are stored on your device. Reinstalling the app removes them. Always backup important waypoints or enable cloud sync if available. Contact support for recovery options.
Battery draining fast?
GPS uses significant battery. Close other apps, reduce screen brightness, disable unnecessary features. Disable location history. Bring a portable charger on long hikes. Battery life varies by phone model.
Maps not updating?
Map updates download automatically over WiFi. Go to Settings β Check for Updates to force a check. Old cached maps can be cleared to free space and allow new versions to download.
